Privacy Policy

Omarator is an AI video dubbing service, developed and founded by Omar Alaa. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how long we keep it. We keep it short and specific to what the service actually does.

1. Information we collect

• Account: your email address and sign-in details when you create an account with email and password or sign in with Google. Sign-in is handled by a secure third-party authentication provider.
• Videos you dub: the video files you upload, or the videos we download from links you give us, and the results we produce (dubbed video, audio, subtitles and transcript).
• Your library: a list of your dubs (video name, languages, duration, date and file links) so you can find them again from any device.
• Usage information: for each dub we record details such as video length, languages, the date and time, and which voice service was used. We store a one-way hashed (not readable) version of your IP address for abuse prevention and service monitoring. If a dub fails, we keep the technical reason so we can fix the problem.
• Payments: Premium is paid by manual transfer (InstaPay, Vodafone Cash or PayPal). We only store the sender phone number, email or reference you type in, the payment method and the date. We never receive or store card or bank details.
• Messages: anything you send us by email.

2. How we use your information

• To dub your videos and deliver the results to you.
• To run your account, your daily free limit and your Premium plan.
• To prevent abuse, keep the service secure and fix errors.
• To reply to your messages.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How long we keep your files

• Uploaded videos: deleted automatically about 2 hours after upload (so you can dub the same video again without re-uploading).
• Dubbed results (video, audio, subtitles, transcript): deleted automatically about 24 hours after they are created. Please download anything you want to keep.
• Library entries, account, usage and payment records: kept while your account exists, or until you ask us to delete them.

4. Services that process data for us

To provide the service, we rely on trusted third-party providers, each bound by its own terms and privacy policy:

• AI providers — speech recognition, translation and voice generation for your videos.
• Cloud hosting — the servers where your files are processed and stored temporarily.
• Authentication and database — your account, sign-in (including Google sign-in) and your library.
• Video download services — when you dub from a link, the video may be fetched through third-party download services.

Important: some of the AI providers we use may use the content sent to them to improve their own services, and their staff may review it. Omarator itself does not use your videos to train AI models. Please avoid uploading videos that contain sensitive personal information.

Some icons and payment QR codes load from third-party content networks, which, like any website, can see your IP address when your browser loads them.

5. Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. We use your browser's storage only for things the service needs: keeping you signed in, remembering your language and theme, and your recent dubs. A sign-in cookie lets your browser securely open your own dubbed files.

6. Sharing links

If you create a share link for a dubbed video, anyone who has that link can watch the video until it expires.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your account and the data linked to it at any time by emailing omaralaa2004@gmail.com from your account email.

8. Children

Omarator is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date below.
